The main direction of the design was to change from the mechanical feel of the existing checker to the user-friendly design. In addition, according to the role of each part, clear color and shape identity were given to increase visibility and solve the problem of usability. The challenge was to clean up the complex internal structure as succinctly as possible. The design goal was to make the most of existing resources and materials while updating them. The ground part exposed from the existing product is made invisible, and the cable holding part is visible from a distance to increase safety.
