The use of disposable goods has exploded through the Covid-19 era. We do not give much thought to the items that we throw away. If we were to see those discarded, disposable items once again, it would be an opportunity for greater awareness on this matter.

ADAO collects and cleans discarded, disposable goods or packaging before they are transported to treatment and processing companies. The surfaces of such plastic packaging are clean and flexible, resulting in excellent molds. Here, I poured the resin containing environmentally friendly ingredients to create objects that can be used for a wide range of purposes.

Objects born through this process are familiar yet give off a sense of newness and deliver messages in a metaphorical way. Through this work, I hope that people can take the time to look back on the disposable products that they discarded or threw away indifferently.
